Modalyst is an Official Dropshipping Partner of AliExpress. This means that all of the product data - including prices, inventory & shipping - is synced through our API connection with AliExpress. This is a faster and more secure way to sync products and orders.

To get started, we need to connect your account with AliExpress. You can follow a few easy steps from this page on Modalyst. Each step is necessary to ensure that your account is connected correctly, allowing us to update products and sync your orders.

Please make sure that you are logged into your AliExpress account.

Connect to AliExpress

We first need to connect your store to AliExpress. This just takes a click of the button Connect to AliExpress.

NOTE: When your Aliexpress account is connected, you will see a green arrow for this step. If you do not see it right away, refresh the page. You will see a green indicator when this step is successfully completed.

To keep your account connected to AliExpress, you need to renew your connection every 30 days. Simply click on the Renew Connection button to refresh your connection. You can do this throughout the month and do not need to wait for the 30 days to expire.

​Install our Chrome Extension

You can add AliExpress products from the Modalyst Marketplace or from AliExpress. To add products from AliExpress, download our Chrome Extension. 

The Chrome Extension adds a layer over AliExpress, enabling you to add any product to Modalyst. All of the product information is pulled through our API connection with AliExpress. You can learn how to use the Chrome Extension here.

Once the item is on Modalyst, you can edit the product details and then add it to your store.
